ates: The cost of
a website is based on the complexity of the site, its design and technical elements, and the total number of pages of the completed site.
After our initial meeting, we will be able to give you a free estimate of the total cost, based on the estimated hours it will
take to complete your website. Rates are: initial website design $40 per hour. Revisions, additions $25 per hour.
The Process: The first step is to meet with you either in person or over the phone. We will briefly go over the design process, what's involved on our end and yours, answer any questions you may have, and will ask you questions about your goals, needs and color/design tastes. Together, we will determine how many pages you will want for your website, we will talk about what materials are needed and which items you will be providing and which you want us to design or procure. We will go over website ranking, domains, URLs, email, page content, layout, logos, and links. From the results of our meeting, we will then create a task list, target end date and a work up a free quote. Once the plan is in place, a startup deposit will be due to begin the design process.
The Next Steps: You and we will review the task list and will obtain the necessary items to begin work (e.g., photos, text). Once we've received the basic images and text, we will create three mockup designs and will give you a link to the development version of your website. You will then be able to see a close representation of how your finished home page will look online. You will then choose the design you like best and will give us your notes. We will then create a final mockup for your approval. Once approved, a second payment will be due to begin the completion phase.
Completion: The last phase of development is turning the mockup into a working website and presenting you with pages for review, notes and approval. After the site is finished and you have reviewed and approved the finished version of the website, a final payment will be due. Once received, the website will be uploaded to the Internet and go "live" usually within 24 hours providing the domain and hosting are ready to go.
Other Services: After your website is live, you may want to have office or advertising/marketing artwork created to match your website. We offer our web customers these services at a discounted rate of $25 per hour: business cards, yellow pages ads, and letterhead. We will also be happy to discuss any other artistic needs you have.
